At this moment I am writing this on a ThinkPad x220t (t=tablet) with Arch Linux. I use the x220t at may daily studies, i.e. writing stuff with the Wacom pencil or making FEM and Matlab calculations. In future articles I will write about the things I did to get it work at its best for my needs, better then under Windows in my eyes. Windows is installed, too, because I sadly need some proprietary software for my studies.
There a few things I did:
- Panel with special tablet scripts, to enhance the tablet experience
- Scripts to get most Fn-Buttons work
- Networktoolscript for manual control over the network devices.
Maybe I will write a little review for its performance under Linux. A good review about the technical aspects of the x220t can be found here.
